Parliamentarians adopted amendments the law “On some additional government measures aimed at minimizing the negative impact of external economic factors” regarding the expansion of the construction amnesty in two readings amendments.
The construction amnesty was adopted in 2016 and has been extended several times. The amnesty period ends at the end of this year. The objects built before January 1, 2021 can be legalized without paying a fine.
It is proposed to clarify the wording of the current norms in order for more people to take advantage of the construction amnesty and legalize outbuildings, summer houses and other objects.
Clarification of the current norm will make it possible, for example, to legitimize outbuildings that were erected on the territory of a household at a time when ownership of it had not yet been formalized. In addition, the law-in-draft proposes to apply an amnesty to objects for which the right to inherit arose not only before 2016, but also to this day.
The adopted amendments to the law “On certain additional government measures aimed at minimizing the negative impact of external economic factors” will come into force after signing.
