The Capital - location of the supreme bodies of state power

Deputy corps has considered proposed law-in-draft "On Amendments to the Law of PMR "On the status of the Capital of PMR", proposed by their colleague Gregory Dyachenko. The deputy offered to prescribe at the legislative level that the place of location of the supreme bodies of state power, namely the Supreme Council and the Government should be the Capital of the republic. The legislative initiative was developed in 2013 - at a time when it was proposed to move the legislative body of the Republic to the city of Bendery.

Possible introduction of a list of other state bodies, which should be placed directly in Tiraspol, was discussed in the course of the plenary session. Adopted in first reading the law-in-draft will be finalized for the second reading in the framework of the profile committee on legislation.
