Stimulating business activity

The President of Pridnestrovie Vadim Krasnoselsky, being a deputy of the Supreme Council, prepared a new law-in-draft for the republic - "On stimulating entrepreneurial activity in some territories of the PMR". Today, the deputies of the Supreme Council voted unanimously for its adoption, adopting the law-in-draft in the first reading.

The legislative initiative of the President is aimed at giving additional incentives to entrepreneurial activity in the territories where its shortage is acute.

The legislative initiative of the President instructs the government to establish criteria for determining areas with weak entrepreneurial activity. After their definition in these settlements will be applied reduced rates for payment of an individual entrepreneurial patent (70 percent discount is planned). The same size for the tax on income tax organizations will affect legal entities that will start doing business in these settlements. In addition, a reduction factor of 0.5 will be used for rents for premises in municipal or state ownership.
