The single day of voting was held in Grigoriopol and Grigoriopol district with 51% voter turnout. Elections were held for 30 constituencies. The most active were the voters of Shipka and Karmanovo village and township Kolosovo. Pridnestrovians first elected parliament of VI convocation together with the deputies of local councils and chairmen of councils - the heads of administrations of villages.

Summing up the single voting day, have launched the work of the Council of People's Deputies of cities and regions. Opening the first session of the 25th convocation of town and district councils that was held in Grigoriopol December 8th. Chairman of the territorial election commission District Alexander Mocreac announced the election results. The new composition of the District Council consists of 30 men and 14 representatives of the fair sex. Among the newly elected deputies, there are 16 of the previous convocation.

The agenda of the first meeting is the creation of a temporary committee on mandates and on parliamentary activities. According to the chairman of the commission Tatiana Poyan, disorders related to the election of the deputies were not found. The elections were held in accordance with the Electoral Code of PMR. The powers of the elected Council of People's Deputies Grigoriopol and Grigoriopol district have been recognized. As a result of the secret ballot Alexander Torpan will continue to parliamentary activity in the name of the Chairman of the Board. Let’s remember that he has this position in town and district councils since 2012. Alexander Torpan outlined the tasks of the new convocation.
