Sports festival in Dubossary

New sports grounds have been opened today in the Energetikov park of Dubossary. The event was timed to coincide with the City Day. It was attended by the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky, the Vice Speaker of the Parliament Galina Antyufeyeva and the deputies of the Supreme Council Oleg Bayev and Boris German, representing the interests of the Dubossary residents in the supreme legislative body.

New sports locations have been built in the Energetikov park: a football field, basketball and volleyball courts. At the initiative of the PMR President, this facility was included in the state program of the Capital Investment Fund. Reconstruction began two years ago. New sidewalk and jogging tracks have appeared in the park. Workers installed energy-efficient lanterns, benches and trash cans. The area for playing table tennis was also equipped. This is only the first stage of reconstruction.

The deputy of the Supreme Council for constituency number 11 "Central" Boris German grew up in the city of Dubossary. As a teenager, he spent free time with friends in the Energetikov park. Therefore, he knows firsthand that the park needed reconstruction.

Svyatoslav Panteleev has been professionally engaged in table tennis for over 7 years. Today he tested tennis tables and shared his impressions.

Pupils and coaches of four Dubossary sports schools took part in the sports festival. They noted that the park has changed and is turning into a real sports center. The new grounds will also be used as a training base. Now both professionals and amateurs will be able to play sports here.
