Historical objects of cultural heritage associated with the creation of the PMR can be entered into the Unified Register of the Republic's Cultural Heritage. The Supreme Council deputies adopted amendments to the law "On immovable objects of cultural heritage" in the course of the plenary session today. The author of the legislative initiative is Mikhail Burla, Chairman of the Committee on Education, Science and Culture. According to the law, only monuments and objects of cultural heritage can be entered into the state register, 40 years or more have passed since the time of their occurrence or since the date of their creation or since the date of historical events with which such objects are associated.
There are many monuments and monuments that are associated with the history of the creation of the republic in Pridnestrovie. Thirty years have passed since the founding of our republic, so they could not be entered into the state register. Accordingly, such cultural objects remained without state protection. The law-in-draft adopted today makes it possible to include in the Unified State Register objects of cultural heritage associated with the history of the PMR and created less than 40 years ago. These objects include monuments to the deceased defenders of the PMR and events related to the hostilities to defend our republic. As well as memorial apartments and houses in which outstanding personalities lived who had special services to Pridnestrovie.
