The Speaker took part in a working meeting with the President

The PMR President held a weekly working meeting with public and administrative authorities, attended by the PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov. The issue of the need to amend the legislation on public procurement was discussed in the course of the meeting in addition to the traditional information messages from the heads of state administrations on the state of affairs on the ground, plans and problems requiring urgent solutions. The heads of town and district administrations voiced their vision, outlining the difficulties they encounter in the process of work due to the imperfections of current standards. A meeting dedicated to this topic will be held today at the Supreme Council.

Another topic raised by the President was the legislative establishment of the mechanism for providing sick leave to parents of children with cancer. We are talking about the period of stay of the child and the accompanying adult in the hospital. It was necessary to take a vacation either at own expense or even quit job in order to be able to be in the hospital with a child with cancer previously. Instructions were given to make the necessary amendments in the legislative framework.

The heads of town and district state administrations in the course of the meeting informed about the events held last week. Road and landscaping work was reduced to a minimum almost everywhere last week. This is due to unfavorable weather conditions for their holding.

The head of Bendery Roman Ivanchenko reported on plans to expand the recreation area on the territory of the Bendery beach, the head of Slobodzeya Vasily Tishchenko presented a project for the next children's playground, the head of the Dubossary district Ruslan Chaban spoke about the start of the month of improvement, the head of Rybnitsa Viktor Tyagai informed about the ongoing flood control measures.

The need for urgent repair or replacement of the ventilation and air conditioning system of the Palace of the Republic was among the issues raised in the course of the meeting. The equipment has failed. Events hosting by the institution, especially in the warm season, will be impossible without it. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that the solution to the problem cannot be postponed.
