The Parliament Speaker: the Supreme Council is ready to work on the tasks set by the PMR President

The Supreme Council is ready to work on the tasks set by the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Korshunov told the parliamentary press service about this, commenting on the Message of the PMR President to state authorities and administration today. According to the Speaker, the PMR President set many tasks, most of them are based on the Development Strategy of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and are familiar to the deputies.

“We have been working on many of them partially for more than a year, because legislation is a living mechanism and is constantly being improved. The Supreme Council was also entrusted with a number of tasks for the coming year. For example, work on the Budget Code is at the stage of zero reading. We are ready to work on the development of a legislative framework in the sphere of pricing in order to curb the growth of regulated prices for the services of enterprises in the sphere of natural monopolies, we are working on the creation of legal mechanisms for regulating tariffs for water supply for irrigation purposes and for managing state property,” Alexander Korshunov emphasized.

The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky divided the message into several blocks: ensuring the economic self-sufficiency of the republic, observing the principles of social justice, the tasks of ensuring political stability and the block of regional policy. The Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic emphasized that each of these blocks has tasks for the deputies.
