16.09.2024

The weekly video conference of the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky with the participation of all public and administrative authorities was held on September 16, 2024. Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Korshunov took part in the video conference. The consequences of the bad weather of the past weekend and plans for the current week were discussed. The President focused on the problems caused by heavy rains.

The issues on the elimination of the consequences of the bad weather, which did not cause serious damage, were raised in the course of the video conference. Three trees were felled by the wind in Tiraspol, no one was hurt, there are sinkholes that will be eliminated in the near future. The capital's storm sewer system worked effectively, although in some areas the drainage systems were overloaded, for example, Karl Liebknecht Street, No. 72. The problem is that a pipe of the wrong diameter was laid in this area, said the head of Tiraspol state administration, Oleg Dovgopol.

Considerable attention was paid to road works, which are actively being carried out in the republic. Sergey Sokirka informed that in the villages of Grushka and Krasny Oktyabr of Kamenka District, concreting of planned sections has been completed. The focus is now on intra-house territories in Bendery. A lot of work is being done in Kosmonavtov Street. The plans for next year include completing the repair of the road surface in Kishinevskaya and Tamara Kruchok Streets. The urgently needed road reconstruction in 40 Let VLKSM Street requires additional allocation of funds. The meeting participants discussed the upcoming festive events on the occasion of the formation of Slobodzeya and Tiraspol, as well as the problems of reducing the number of minibuses and organizing meals in educational institutions, waste removal and the activities of housing and communal services enterprises. These and other issues will be included in the agenda of the extended meeting under the President, which will be held this week.
