The Special Fund to Fight Coronavirus

The Supreme Council decided to create a special budgetary fund to finance measures to counter coronavirus infection. The law "On the Republican Budget for 2021" was amended accordingly.

The year 2020 showed that the costs of measures to counter coronavirus infection are in the hundreds of millions of rubles. The state in this regard needs to accumulate resources to ensure the life and health of our citizens.

As the Parliament Speaker noted it will be necessary as soon as possible to find sources for replenishing the new special fund in order to finance all the necessary and sufficient measures this year to preserve the life and health of our citizens.
