The Union of Russian Communities of Pridnestrovie is 20

The Union of Russian Communities of Pridnestrovie celebrated its 20th anniversary. The jubilee conference was held at the Palace of the Republic on the Day of National Unity. The event was attended by Deputy Chairperson of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeyeva and Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Artem Turov.

Artem Turov in the State Duma of the VIII convocation holds the position of Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Eurasian integration and relations with compatriots. The deputy was elected as part of the federal list of candidates nominated by the All-Russian political party "United Russia". Pridnestrovians gave the majority of votes for the ruling party in the elections on September 19.

Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Artem Turov thanked for the work and presented gifts to representatives of the Union of Russian Communities of all cities of Pridnestrovie. The public organization participates in various Russian projects, thanks to which assistance is provided to veterans of the Great Patriotic War, pensioners and children in need of treatment. The most active members of the Union of Russian Communities were awarded state awards.
