Joint projects of CIS parliamentarians

Deputy of the State Duma of Russia Artem Turov took part in the discussion of the implementation of joint projects, both in the field of youth policy and in other areas of international humanitarian cooperation, within the framework of the Ivolga forum.

The international shift of the forum was attended by experts from the CIS countries, Abkhazia and South Ossetia, including deputies and employees of national parliaments, specialists from youth and educational organizations, representatives of associations of young scientists, innovative businesses, students from the CIS countries, Abkhazia and South Ossetia, as well as their colleagues from Russia.

The international shift forum provides an opportunity to discuss the challenges and prospects in implementing bilateral and multilateral projects in the field of cooperation between professional communities of the countries of the former Soviet Union.

As part of the shift work, the participants received presentations of international projects implemented by non-profit organizations of countries, seminars, workshops and project games focused on the formation of new areas of work in the field of humanitarian cooperation.

Based on the results of the forum, experts prepared recommendations that will be sent to the Base Organization for Youth Affairs of the CIS member countries, the CIS Youth Council and interested organizations of the Commonwealth countries.

According to Sergei Malenko, the Head of the Office for CIS Development and International Cooperation and Rossotrudnichestvo Integration, the composition of experts and participants in the international shift sent by the countries to the forum allows us to discuss a wide range of issues and propose new formats for interaction between countries.

Artem Turov has been representing the interests of Pridnestrovian Russians in the State Duma of the Russian Federation since 2016. People’s elect is constantly making working visits to our republic. Over the years, more than a dozen problems of voters have been resolved. The possibility of obtaining Russian citizenship by compatriots, the use of maternal capital in the territory of Pridnestrovie, the sphere of youth policy, humanitarian cooperation - these issues are constantly monitored by the representatives of the Russian State Duma representing the interests of Pridnestrovians. At the site of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, initiatives are regularly developed that are formed in close cooperation with the Pridnestrovian parliamentarians.
