The agenda of the City Council session of Bendery includes 60 issues. Heads of the deputy commissions, as well as the chairman of the council, reported on the results of the work last year. Among the most significant issues addressed to the deputies last year, Yuri Kara highlighted the consideration of the city budget and control over the implementation of targeted programs.
Reports on the execution of municipal target programs were presented by representatives of the state administration. They spoke at the session about the state of a number of social and cultural facilities. Opened last summer the city Dynamo Stadium became a multifunctional sports complex.
Repair work is continuing in the administrative and sports premises of swimming basin in Bendery. It is planned to be commissioned this year. At the expense of budget funds the premises of the House of Culture named after Pavel Tkachenko were repaired. Almost 2 million rubles were spent for development of urban electric transport. Last summer, a new trolleybus line was launched in the Borisovka microdistrict.
However, many unsolved problems remain. These are stray animals, the fate of unfinished buildings, abandoned landfills. Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov and parliamentarian Oleg Petrik took part in the discussion of these topical issues. People's deputies are well acquainted with urban problems, since they represent the interests of the Bendery people in the Parliament. The speaker noted the activity of the deputies of Bendery in the legislative process. Last year, the city council prepared 8 legislations and sent them to the Supreme Council.
The legislator is sure that the Supreme and local Councils will be able to solve the existing problems together. The work will be for the benefit of Pridnestrovians.
