The Land Legislation Improvement

Parliamentarians adopted the law-in-draft on the division of powers between the President and government in the regulation of land relations in the second and final reading. It was proposed to redistribute the functions of development and implementation of state programs on rational use of land, protection of state ownership of land and the rights of land users, tenants by means of these amendments to the Land Code. Among the powers there is organization of work for the state registration of rights to land, approval of the procedure of withdrawal of land in violation of the duties of landowners and other functions.

 Deputies considered the amendments to the document prepared by the specialized parliamentary committee during the plenary session. One of them offered to include to the competence of the President to approve and change the boundaries of cities and other settlements and the resolution of land disputes in order to bring the draft regulations into conformity with the norms of the Law "On local authorities, local government and public administration in Pridnestrovie". Another amendment provides that the Government shall have the right to decide on withdrawal of land from the landowners for public use in accordance with the applicable legislation.

Deputies taking into account the proposals of lawmakers agrarian adopted the law-in-draft "On amendments and addendum to the Land Code" in the second and final reading.
