Those who need social services and those who provide social services will enter into a special contract. The deputies of the Supreme Council today adopted in the final reading the amendments to the law "On social services for elderly citizens and disabled people."
Today the deputies adopted the law in the second reading. It is supplemented by article 13-1, which provides for an individual social service program. The document specifies the form of social services, types, volume, frequency, conditions, terms for the provision of social services. The social services program will be tailored to the needs of the elderly or disabled person. An individual social service program will be mandatory for organizations providing such services.
The agreement must be drawn up in two copies: one remains with the citizen who needs social assistance, the second with the organization. In what form and how exactly the individual program of social services will be drawn up will be decided by the relevant department on behalf of the PMR Government.
The innovations will come into force 30 days after the PMR President signs amendments to the law “On social services for elderly citizens and disabled people”.
