The law-in-draft “On the republican budget-2019” was adopted by the Supreme Council in the third and final reading during the plenary session held today.

The main priority of the budget of the next year is to increase by 7% the wages of public sector employees. As noted by Alexander Korshunov, in many respects this has become possible due to the growth of economic indicators in the current fiscal year. Part of the increase in wages and pensions will be part of the profits of municipal and state enterprises, which also demonstrate a positive dynamic of economic activity.

As for the budget deficit, it will not affect socially protected expenses. The fact that the budget in this part is balanced will also have a positive effect on the rate of the Pridnestrovian ruble.
