Social protection of defenders

The Supreme Council supported the proposal of Grigoriopol town and district council to release defenders of armed conflicts, military operations from the payment of the target collection for the improvement of the village. According to the initiators of the relevant amendments to the law "On the basis of the tax system in Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic"

There were opinions that there is no special need in adopting the initiative, since many members of the aforesaid categories in the law-in-draft are pensioners, which means that already exempt from this fee. There were other suggestions. Deputies Sergey Cheban and Vadim Kravchuk, for example, talked about the advisability of not cancel the obligation to pay for the collection from the defenders, and reduce its size.

As a result, socially significant proposal has been adopted in the first reading.
