The deputy corps in the second final reading adopted amendments to the law of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic "On additional guarantees for the social protection of orphans and children left without parental care". More than 1000 orphans today are on the waiting list for housing according to the Ministry of Social Protection. The adopted law-in-draft will allow state administrations of cities and regions to pay monthly monetary compensation to orphans for commercial rental of housing, if it is not possible to provide them with separate housing or a place in a hostel. Almost 2 million rubles will be allocated in local budgets for this. The procedure, amounts and conditions for providing monthly monetary compensation for the cost of commercial rental of housing to orphans will be regulated by a legal act of the Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

Amendments to the law "On Education" were adopted in the second final reading. They are aimed at supporting students receiving a survivor's pension. Such a pension is paid today to full-time students until they reach the age of 23. The law-in-draft provides that those university students who interrupted their studies at the hospital in order to do compulsory military service will be able to receive material compensation up to the age of 24 in the amount of the previously assigned survivor's pension. About 70-75 thousand rubles will be spent annually on the implementation of these measures. The law will take effect on January 1, 2023.

The law of the PMR "On additional education" will prescribe the categories of children who are entitled to a 100% or 50% discount for studying in children's music and art schools, as well as in art schools. The deputies of the Supreme Council supported the relevant law-in-draft in the first reading. These benefits were previously determined by a Government Decree. Now the provision of benefits will be regulated at the legislative level, changes are being made to several laws. The package of initiatives was adopted in the first reading. The right to free education in additional education organizations is granted to orphans, disabled children, children from large families, children of combatants in the defense of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and internationalist soldiers, children under guardianship and guardianship, as well as children whose parents suffered during the time of the Chernobyl disaster (and categories of citizens equated to them). A 50% benefit is provided to children of single parents, children receiving a survivor's pension, and children whose parents are disabled groups I and II, children from families with two children receiving additional education (for the second child).
