It is planned on June 14 to hold open parliamentary hearings on the topic "On the state of affairs in the road sector and spending of the funds of the Road Fund in 2018". This decision was made today at the meeting of the Presidium of the Supreme Council. The initiators of its holding were the Committee on AIC, Transport, Construction, Natural Resources and Ecology and the Committee on the Development of Entrepreneurship and Industry.
Deputies want to find out how transparent the procedure for holding these competitions is, whether equal access is ensured regardless of the form of ownership of road industry enterprises for performing road works, as the conditions for selecting the winner of the competition are observed in accordance with the criteria defined by the current legislation. For example, to clarify what the average cost of overhaul 1 square meter of the roadway in accordance with the concluded contracts in the cities and districts, what is the cost of pitting or maintenance?
The agenda of the event also includes issues related to the improvement of tendering procedures. The speeches of the heads of the profile committees - the organizers of the hearings - Oleg Leontiev and Viktor Guzun, the director of the Association of Transport Workers and Road Workers of Pridnestrovie Sergey Martsinko, heads of enterprises and public organizations are planned.
