There is a solemn and noisy atmosphere in the capital's cinema "Tiraspol": a few guests are discussing the first domestic premiere this year. "Symphony of water for the river with orchestra" is a documentary historical and educational film about the history of the creation and formation of the Dubossary hydroelectric power station. The film was timed to coincide with the 65th anniversary of the hydroelectric power plant. The anniversary was celebrated in December last year. Deputies of the PMR Supreme Council, the leadership of the city of Dubossary, historians, museum workers and of course the direct participants in the film - workers and veterans of the hydroelectric power station were among the spectators.
As the director of the film, Honored Artist of the PMR Natalya Golub told the press service of the Supreme Council, the project reveals the secrets of the underwater world of the Dniester River, invites the viewer to plunge into history and witness the construction of the Dubossary hydroelectric power station. The director added that “Symphony of water for the river with orchestra” is the embodiment of the idea of the director of the Dubossary hydroelectric power station, deputy of the Supreme Council for the agro-industrial complex, industry and transport Boris German.
Natalia Golub added that the team of the Trio Intellectual Production Center worked on the film, almost 20 people.
The Dniester River is the ninth largest river in Europe, the third longest river in the Black Sea basin. The river begins journey in the Ukrainian Carpathians. For more than half a century, the river has been used to provide light for the people living on its banks. The Dubossary hydroelectric power plant was the first to be built on the Dniester. At the time of construction it was one of the most powerful in the region.
The film "Symphony of water for the river with orchestra" shows the history of the hydroelectric power station, the change of leaders, attention is also paid to the veterans of the hydroelectric power station, added Boris German.
