The benefits for former peasant farms will remain

Many peasant (farm) enterprises have been transferred to the status of legal entities under the new taxation rules since January 1. The benefits that they used should be at the same time preserved for the remaining period of their validity. This is the opinion of the deputies of the Committee on Agro-Industrial Complex that was supported today at the plenary session. The deputies adopted additions and amendments to the laws “On share collection” and “On payment for land”.

We are talking about benefits for uprooting perennial plantations that involve exemption for a certain period from paying land tax among other things.

It was clarified by the Committee amendments that a legal entity must be formed by the head or one of the members of the peasant (farmer) economy or they must be part of the founders of the legal entity in order to continue to enjoy the benefits.

The new norm will apply to legal relations that have arisen since the 1st of January, 2023 after signing by the President.
