Republican military-patriotic rally “The Heirs of Victories” started on the basis of the Dniester Dawns recreation complex. The event, dedicated to the celebration of Republic Day, takes place for the second year in a row. The organizers are the youth patriotic movement “The Heirs of Victories” and the Ministry of Defense with the support of the Presidential Administration.

The opening ceremony was attended by Minister of Defense Oleg Obruchkov, Head of the operational group of Russian troops in Pridnestrovie Dmitry Zelenkov, Deputy of the Supreme Council, member of the parliamentary committee on education, science and culture Sergey Vasiliev, representatives of ministries and departments.

The Supreme Council Deputy Sergey Vasiliev is of the same opinion. He told the participants of the rally about the participation of his grandfathers in the Great Patriotic War. The opportunity to see and communicate with veterans, unfortunately, remains only with current generations. The parliamentarian said that the significance of Victory to future generations, despite attempts to falsify history, is the main goal of the rally.

The military-patriotic rally “The Heirs of Victories” will take place not three days, as last year, but four, and will end on September 8. Another difference between the “The Heirs of Victories - 2019” is that the participants will have more opportunities to study various types of military art.

The participants of the rally are representatives of educational institutions of higher and professional education, pupils of Suvorov Military College, cadets. Totally 32 teams of 15 people. Newcomers were students of a technical college named after Gagarin.

The young men have to shoot with airguns, throw knives and sapper blades, overcome an obstacle course, participate in a bayonet battle during four days. According to the organizers, the participants will have the opportunity to make new acquaintances, exchange views, show military skills during the rally.

The final chord of the opening of the rally was the demonstration performances of the cadets and pupils of Suvorov Military College. They vividly demonstrated what their mentors taught them.
