Deputies during the plenary session considered the legislative initiative of the colleague Mikhail Burla, amending the law "On immovable objects of cultural heritage." The parliamentarian proposed to reduce the period from 70 to 40 years, after which immovable objects of cultural heritage can be recognized as such and included in the Unified State Register. Due to the fact that there are a large number of “young” monuments in the republic, since the creation of which no more than a quarter of a century has passed, the author of the law-in-draft considers it necessary in exceptional cases to include objects created less than 40 years ago in the register.

The law-in-draft refers to archaeological heritage sites. They, according to the author, must be entered into the register if at least 100 years have passed since the moment of occurrence. The proposed norms are similar to the norms of Russian legislation.

The law-in-draft on amending the law "On immovable cultural heritage" was adopted by the deputy corps in the first reading.
