During the plenary session, the people's deputies approved the law-in-draft "On the Unified State Register of Immovable Cultural Heritage Objects" in the first reading. In his project - 2124 objects in need of state protection.

There is a register 2002 at the moment. Over the past time, according to the results of historical and cultural expertise, the number of monuments recognized as immovable objects of cultural heritage has grown significantly. Only monuments of archeology became by 1786 objects more. The new register is intended to become the basis for accounting, protection, restoration of historical and cultural monuments.

Legislators in the future will have to perform a large amount of work to clarify the addresses of the location of objects of historical and cultural heritage, their owners and categories.
