Preservation of Monuments

Pridnestrovie is preparing for the celebration of the anniversary of the Great Victory. In the village of Chobruchi, Slobodzeya district, repair work began at the monument to Soviet soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War. It is located in the park named after Rodin. The funds were used to change the concrete coating at the facility. Deputies of the Supreme Council at the plenary session voted for the corresponding changes to the conservation program.

In addition, they will replace the tiles near the monument "Black Tulip" in Bendery. It was founded in memory of residents of Bendery who died in Afghanistan. Deputies supported the amendments. The law-in-draft on amendments to the law “On approval of the state target program“ Preservation of immovable cultural heritage of the PMR requiring urgent repair” was adopted in two readings and sent for signature to the President.

Funds for the conservation of immovable objects of cultural heritage are provided for in the republican budget. The program has been in force since last year and is designed until 2021. Its funding exceeds 6 million rubles.
