The Monument Conservation Program will operate in 2022 and 2023. The Supreme Council supported the law-in-draft on the extension of the term for the repair of cultural heritage sites. It is planned to complete 8 started objects and additionally restore 5 monuments over the next two years: a monument to Lenin on 25 October Street in Tiraspol, a Memorial to the victims of fascism in Dubossary, in Bendery – a Memorial of Military Glory, a railway station building, Flemmer's house and an observation tower on the territory of the former camp Lira. An additional 6 million rubles will be put into the budget of the state target program. The Supreme Council deputies adopted today the law-in-draft in two readings at once. According to the Chairman of the Committee on Education and Culture Igor Buga, monuments are the history of the state, which will go to subsequent generations.

Initially, the Program for the Preservation of Monuments requiring urgent repair included 26 objects. After the amendments were made, there were 31 monuments in the list. Marina Kashleva, the Head of the Department of Historical and Cultural Heritage of the State Service for Culture, said that the objects included in the Monument Preservation Program are mainly dedicated to the Great Patriotic War and the fallen soldiers. Most of them have been repaired and brought into proper condition for the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory.

It is planned to restore the building of the former Flemmer dacha and the observation tower in 2023. The objects belong to the Bendery constituency №3 "Borisovskiy". Deputy of the Supreme Council for the constituency Oleg Petrik at all levels raised the issue of repairing historical objects, which the residents of Borisovka asked more than once. The buildings of the 19th century are located on a large territory of the Lira camp, which has been closed since 2006.

The deputy of the Supreme Council for the Borisovsky district noted that the issue of creating a nursing home on the territory of the former Lira camp is currently being considered. This is the initiative of the PMR President and the Head of the Bendery State Administration, supported by many residents of the Borisovka microdistrict.

The law-in-draft on the extension of the period of validity of the state Program for the Preservation of Monuments and the inclusion of additional objects in it was adopted by the Supreme Council in two readings at once and sent to the President for signature.
