The role of archives is indisputable in preserving the historical memory of generations. Archives - is not just a place to store primary sources, a powerful information resource that serves society and our republic. These are, above all, people who honestly and professionally carry out their work, successfully master the new information technologies. You are devotees of the business, the real guardians of the history, reflected in the documents. Documentary treasury of our republic is maintained and multiplied, strengthening the inextricable link past and future generations thanks to your efforts.

Documents of state and municipal levels are widely used during school lessons, lectures, excursions to patriotic upbringing of the younger generation, the social and legal protection of citizens. Often our countrymen turn to the archives in order to get help or archival copy of the specification of the date of birth, employment history, the fact of awarding orders and medals.

I am sure that employees of archival institutions will continue to make a significant contribution to preservation of national historical and cultural heritage. I express my sincere thanks, respect and appreciation for your hard work, enthusiasm and initiative.
