At the end of January, Moscow hosted the traditional Christmas educational readings “The Great Victory: Heritage and Heirs”, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945. The results of the delegation’s visit from Pridnestrovie to the Russian capital were summed up today at the Parliament during press conference. Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov, deputies Ruslan Gareev and Oleg Vasilaty told reporters about the events that took place in the Federation Council as part of the readings, meetings with colleagues parliamentarians and the issues that were discussed at the forum in Moscow.

According to Alexander Korshunov, members of the Pridnestrovian delegation attended the opening of the readings in the Kremlin, where greetings from top officials of the state Vladimir Putin and Mikhail Mishustin were voiced, at the plenary meeting chaired by Valentina Matvienko and Patriarch Kirill.

Pridnestrovians also visited the Public Chamber, RUDN University, Russian University of Economics named after Plekhanov. The main topics of discussion are the organization of military-patriotic education of youth (including in Pridnestrovie), the formation of meanings and values ​​to preserve historical memory and pride in the Great Victory.

They talked about expanding humanitarian international cooperation. with colleagues from the State Duma, Nikonov V. A., Kosachev K. I., Gavrilov S. A., Glebova L. A., Zemtsov N. G., Gumerova L. S. During the extended meeting of the Committee on Foreign Affairs with V. M. Dzhabarov, E. V. Bibikova, and V. V. Ryazansky, the Federation Council discussed the possibility of holding a round table with the participation of representatives of regional and executive authorities in order to expand interregional cooperation.

In the course of the meeting with the leadership of the apparatus of the United Russia faction, deputies of the Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots Umakhanov U. M., Mazurevsky K. S., Krotov M. I., issues of expanding inter-parliamentary cooperation, the participation of Pridnestrovie in social-patriotic relay race “Our Great Victory” was discussed.

A number of meetings were also held in Rossotrudnichestvo with the leadership of the departments in charge of our republic, the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, the Central Executive Committee of the United Russia Party, where they outlined the holding of joint projects “The All-Russian Victory Dictation” and “City of Labor Valor”, the prospects for international cooperation between the parties "United Russia" and "Renewal".

According to Alexander Korshunov, an agreement was reached on the need to prepare a state program dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory, which will include specific projects and activities to educate the youth of Pridnestrovie.
