Deputies began work on a package of laws regulating the institute of immunity in spring of this year. The main proposal of parliamentarians - immunity should extend only to the professional acts performed by people deputy during his term. However, the President vetoed the adopted laws. Moreover, the state media have been actively replicated the idea that deputies have introduced 'lifelong immunity ", which is not even mentioned in the proposed legislative initiative.

Today's plenary session of parliament returned to the discussion of these issues. It was decided to stop the political insinuations on the subject, that conciliation commission must decide the fate of the issue of immunity. It will consist of three representatives of the President, the Government and the Supreme Council. Deputy corps invited the deputy speaker Galina Antyufeeva, deputies Gregory Dyachenko and  Oleg Petrik to represent it.
