A meeting dedicated to the International Day of the Blind took place at the assembly hall of the Tiraspol training and production enterprise "Rassvet" . This date is celebrated annually November 13, it aims to draw public attention to the problems of the visually impaired, so in need of support.

The concert program was organized for the Blind and visually impaired people. The event was family, warm and happy - with songs and dances, poetry and good wishes, gifts and treats. His performances delighted the pupils of the specialized kindergarten number 44, vocal group of veterans of the City Council "Rucheiok" and other performers.

The event was visited by old friends of the city "Association of the Blind", deputy of the Supreme Council for the electoral district №36" Central "Ilona Tyuryaeva, Tiraspol city council deputies Yelena Soboleva and Konstantin Royman. Deputies noted that many blind people are an example of solidarity, love of life and peace.

Chairman of the municipal organization "Society of Blind" Olga Aksenty and director Tatiana Novikova thanked the deputies for the long-standing cooperation. This year, thanks to the help of parliament the repairs were made in the building, which for the visually impaired is second home.

During the meeting, they spoke about the success of the organization, bringing together the blind and visually impaired, their social, labor and sports rehabilitation. In particular, Tiraspol SCP "Rucheiok", where 80% of staff - visually impaired groups I and II, produces consumer goods, which can be seen on the shelves of Pridnestrovian stores.
