Slobozeya celebrated the anniversary of the republic

Festive events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic began with the laying of flowers at the monument to the fallen defenders of the republic. Then a solemn meeting took place. The residents of Slobozeya and the guests of the city were congratulated by the deputy of the Supreme Council Pavel Shinkaryuk.

Pavel Shinkaryuk emphasized that Pridnestrovie is getting stronger and developing every year, the appearance of cities and villages is changing for the better, recreation areas are being improved, parks and squares are being laid, schools, kindergartens, stadiums, houses of culture are being repaired, roads are being built, streets are illuminated at night, favorable conditions are created for the self-realization of each person.

He noted that 2020 is a year of significant anniversaries: the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. In addition, on March 26, the Pridnestrovian State Theater celebrated its 50th anniversary. On October 1, the 90th anniversary will be celebrated by the Taras Grigorievich Shevchenko Pridnestrovian State University. The 30th anniversary of the main legislative body of power - the Supreme Council is on November 29.

Festive festivities were organized in the city on the Republic Day. A concert marathon began at the Arcade complex with the participation of the Favorite folk orchestra and artists from Slobodzeya and Slobodzeya district is at 19:00. The evening sky over the city was lit up with a festive fireworks begins at 21:00.
