Slobodzeya and Slobodzeya district: problems and solutions

The Interests of residents of Slobodzeya district are represented by 6 deputies In the PMR Supreme Council. Today they took part in online meeting, in the course of which the Head of the State Administration of Slobodzeya Vasily Tishchenko reported to the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky on the results of activities in 2020. Slobodzeya district is 87 thousand hectares of land, 62 of which thousand are agricultural land. One town, two settlements and 22 villages located on both banks of the Dniester. Population - 82315 people.

Vasily Tishchenko, speaking about the district's economy, noted that the volume of production in 2020 was kept at the level of 2019, but investment indicators fell, the presidential press service writes. The situation in the agro-industrial complex was seriously affected by the drought. 15 thousand were harvested instead of the planned 150 thousand tons of grain. The absence of rain caused a noticeable decrease in fruit harvest (3,4 thousand tons instead of the expected 10 thousand). Agricultural producers from Slobodzeya remain the main Pridnestrovian supplier of vegetable products at the same time (36 thousand tons out of 44 thousand grown in the republic).

The Head of State Administration of the Slobodzeya district said that last year, if possible, agrarian enteprises, young families and young specialists were credited. 12 orphans are provided with housing. There is a problem with medical and teaching staff.

We talked about housing and communal services, landscaping areas, repairing roads and providing light to all central and diagonal streets in villages. The President emphasized the importance of developing rural infrastructure. He noted that a third of the Pridnestrovian population lives in rural areas, therefore one of the priority tasks of the state is to provide villages with water, gas, and electricity. Vadim Krasnoselsky considers, such aspects as the availability of well-equipped schools, kindergartens, clubs or houses of culture, sports facilities, roads are no less important at the same time.

20,2 million rubles were spent on repair and construction work of objects in the Slobodzeya district in 2020. We are talking about implementation of various programs – capital investment fund, preservation of immovable objects of cultural heritage, orders of voters, repair of public sector facilities, etc.

Deputy of the Supreme Council of the PMR in the Slobodzeya district Pavel Shinkaryuk took part in the inspection of Slobodzeya by Vadim Krasnoselsky. The city center will be transformed. Part of the project has already been completed. Plans for 2021 include the completion of work on the creation of the Park of the newlyweds.

Pavel Shinkaryuk emphasized: every day there are new problems, new ideas, new initiatives. The parliamentarian thanked the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky for the opportunity for the deputies to express their opinion on the work of the regional state administration.
