The city Palace of Culture hosted a ceremony to award winners of the international school competition “Together in the 21st Century”. Representatives of the deputy corps - Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov, parliamentarians Oleg Vasilaty and Sergey Vasiliev awarded the children.

Pridnestrovie is participating in this creative competition for the fifth time. The children express their interest in Bulgaria and Russia, in the history of their relationship, and centuries-old friendship in the drawings, poems, essays, essays, multimedia presentations presented at the competition. The competition is held by the Sustainable Development Fund of Bulgaria, the Union of Bulgarian Teachers under the patronage of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Bulgaria. The topics of the contest are simple and understandable to children in Pridnestrovie - this is peace and friendship, nature conservation, space exploration, the Russian-Turkish war of 1877 - 1878, which liberated Bulgaria from the 500-year-old Turkish yoke. Children's work is sent annually to the organizing committee in Bulgaria. It consists of writers, poets, historians, educators, public figures.

If in 2017 more than 70 students of educational institutions of the republic took part in the competition, then this year there are already 128. During this time, the top 10 Pridnestrovian participants in the competition received vouchers to the Kamchia sanatorium and health complex (Bulgaria) as a prize, more than 120 were awarded with other awards and diplomas of the International Competition. This year, 32 schoolchildren and 18 teachers were awarded various prizes, which were awarded during a ceremony with the participation of honored guests - deputies of the Supreme Council. It began and ended with the performance of Bulgarian dances and songs, which created the spiritual atmosphere of Bulgarian culture and identity for those present.

The head of the legislature of the republic with warm words of gratitude thantked the teachers of the children, emphasizing that their titanic, everyday efforts nurture future artists, the future cultural elite of the state.

The baton of congratulations was supported by deputies Oleg Vasilaty and Sergey Vasiliev.

Addressing the children, the people's representative congratulated them on the fact that they took part in the contest, saying that they were all winners.

The awarding ceremony of the winners and prize-winners of the international school competition “Together in the 21st Century” resulted in an informal story by students and their mentors about how they went to victory and that they were not going to stop there.
