The President Vadim Krasnoselsky at the solemn meeting addressed the audience. He noted that over the years, Pridnestrovie has achieved much, but this would not have been possible without those who, without thinking about their titles and awards, without sparing their lives, defended the family, native land, and the new state.

According to the President, today we can safely say that the state created in 1990 has demonstrated its viability by proving that it has every right to be a full member of the world community.

The priorities of the foreign policy of the Pridnestrovian state remain the protection of sovereignty, following the course towards independence, as well as building equal and mutually beneficial relations with the world community. A special role in this regard is acquired by the dialogue with the Russian Federation, the negotiation process with the Republic of Moldova, interaction with Ukraine, countries and structures of the Eurasian and European Unions, countries of the community for democracy and the rights of peoples, the OSCE and the USA.

Pursuing the course towards maintaining national security, international recognition, the leadership of the republic is doing everything possible to increase the level of economic self-sufficiency. A key challenge remains to create a favorable investment climate. In 2018, new investment legislation was adopted for this, providing for unprecedented preferences and guarantees for investors.

Today, due to state support, enterprises in priority sectors of the economy are actively using affordable loans.

According to the President, the priority of work should be a person, aspirations and needs. A decent level of well-being of citizens, creating a comfortable environment for them is the goal of socially oriented state, which is Pridnestrovie.

In this regard the transformations that have taken place in recent years in health care and education, in the area of providing Pridnestrovians with affordable housing are of particular importance. In the near future, work will be completed on the law-in-draft "On supporting young professionals and young families," the essence of which is in the allocation of subsidies for its acquisition.

Congratulations were addressed to the president and people of Pridnestrovie from the leadership of South Ossetia, Abkhazia and Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as the head of the city of Kaliningrad Alexei Silanov, State Duma deputy Evgeny Primakov Jr., director of the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies Mikhail Fradkov and member of the Public Chamber of Russia Elena Sutormina.
