The Solnechny Square: arrangement continues

The idea appeared long ago to turn the territory near the school number 16 in Bendery into a modern resting place. Last year, funds from the Capital Investment Fund were allocated for the improvement. The asphalt-concrete pavement was removed, old structures were removed, and communications were made. There are big plans ahead for the arrangement of the square. It has already been named after the Solnechny microdistrict.

The microdistrict does not yet have its own resting place. After the completion of the work, residents will be able to play football, basketball and volleyball in the park. A playground will be installed for children. There will be a place for playing chess and table tennis.

An important aspect is the restoration of retaining walls. They are needed to strengthen the soil on the slopes of the hilly residential area of Solnechny. Retaining walls were originally - since the construction of school no.16 - but have recently been in disrepair. Residents appealed to the deputies of the Solnechny constituency. They helped to restore the retaining walls in the first place. Then a sports ground was installed. Landscaping of the future park will begin soon - Canadian maples and exotic oak species will be planted.

Residents of "Solnechny" and teachers of the 16th school turned to the deputies of the Supreme and City Councils with another request - to equip the stage. During the warmer months, cultural events can be held there.

The road issue has been worked out. They will begin to restore the asphalt near the house number 42 on 40 years of Pobedy Street in March. The courtyard area is still with the pits. The residents of the house raised the problem. According to Vyacheslav Nazarov, funding for the work is provided from the Electors' Mandate Fund.

The new asphalt will last at least 5 years. The quality of work is under the control of the deputies. This year it is planned to restore the road surface and equip a parking lot near house number 4 on Engels Street. After changing the boundaries of the districts, this part of the microdistrict began to belong to the electoral district of the deputy of the Supreme Soviet, Alexander Korshunov. Every Friday, in compliance with quarantine measures, citizens are admitted to school number 16 in Bendery.
