The situation around Pridnestrovie was discussed in the State Duma

"Government hour" was held in the State Duma of Russia with the participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov. Deputy Head of the LDPR faction, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Labour, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs Yaroslav Nilov asked a question regarding the statement of the leadership of Ukraine and Moldova that Russia plans to carry out a coup d'état in Moldova. According to Sergey Lavrov, there is a desire from outside Kyiv to undermine Russian positions in the negotiation format of the Moldo-Pridnestrovian settlement "5 + 2" and demand the withdrawal of Russian peacekeepers guarding huge ammunition depots in Kolbasna.

Possible ways out of the stagnation of the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and Moldova were discussed yesterday in the course of the meeting of the PMR leadership with the OSCE delegation. North Macedonia is chairing this year. OSCE Chairman Bujar Osmani noted that everything will be done to resume negotiations in the "5 + 2" format.
