The situation in the State Unitary Enterprise "Biochim" - questions remain

June 8 this year, the Resolution of the Supreme Council formed parliamentary commission for parliamentary inquiry on issues related to financial and economic activities of the State Unitary Enterprise "Biochim". It is composed of 9 legislators. Today its regular meeting chaired by the chairman of the Committee on State Regional Policy Oleg Vasilaty was held. Representatives of "Biochim" and SCC were invited to participate in the work of  it, but  they did not arrive to the meeting.

The beginning of the work of the parliamentary commission was preceded by verification of financial and economic activities of the state enterprise, carried out on behalf of the Supreme Council experts of the Accounting Chamber. The head of the Accounting Chamber Svetlana Izmestieva informed on its results during the last meeting of the Commission. However, she could not tell everyghing, because according to the Security Council decision this information was imposed marked "For Official Use Only". But what has been announced, it is sufficient to draw a conclusion - SUE "Biochim" is at the stage preceding the bankruptcy. The Accounting Chamber has sent the results of SOEs checking to the Supreme Council and the Prosecutor's Office. Investigative Committee opened criminal case on these materials, then stopped "due to lack of evidence". Then, by the court once again opened him.

In recent years, with various stands, including the highest, the fact of the Customs Service of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Moldova response to the request of the Accounting Chamber in respect of exports / imports of alcohol SUE "Biochim" is refuted. Svetlana Izmestieva informed members of the parliamentary commission that the Accounting Chamber on May 13 actually sent an inquiry by registered mail. May 16 the notice was received that the letter received by the addressee. June 2 the reply was received from the Customs Service of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Moldova again by writing "Posta Moldovei". It was demonstrated by representatives and mass media representatives.

As part of parliamentary inquiry, the Supreme Council sent inquiry to the address of the two Ukrainian transport companies, which are listed as carriers in the production of cargo customs declarations "Biochim". The reply confirmed the fact of belonging of these cars tp these firms, but it was reported that they were not involved in the transport of alcohol SUE "Biochim" in the port of Odessa.
