A wide range of products, reasonable prices, high quality

The first mention about the market in the center of Tiraspol refers to 1796. The decree of Catherine II was recorded in the archival documents: to build quarantine market under Tiraspol fortress. Modern Green Market bears little resemblance to its ancestor. For more than two centuries it has undergone many changes. Today it is a real shopping center with  selling products of local manufacture. Several modern buildings, market places are filled with agricultural products. The assortment is wide: fruits, vegetables, dairy, meat products and more. According to the director of market Oleg Dovgopol, this is the main merit of the organization of veterans who gave their trade for decades.

Galina Antyufeeva congratulated the market employees upon the holiday. She noted the high level of work that manages to maintain the organization's staff. This, according to the deputy speaker, is celebrated not only by local residents, but also visitors of the city.

Especially distinguished employees of the holiday were awarded diplomas. Labor veterans received state awards: medal "For Distinction in Labour" and "For labor valor".
