Step to eliminate corruption

Deputies of the parliamentary committee on legislation proposed amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses in order to improve the mechanism for paying administrative fines. The authors consider it necessary to exclude from the Code a provision allowing the offender to pay a fine at the place of the offense.

According to the law-in-draft, if the offender admits guilt, then the administrative protocol may not be compiled. You can pay twice as little if you do it within twenty days. The maximum term for paying a fine is two months.

The question of the possibility of payment of fines by foreign citizens following transit through Pridnestrovie was raised during the discussion of the legislative initiative. Parliamentarians supported the law-in-draft in the first reading. The deputies as part of the preparation of the document for consideration in the second reading intend to work out the mechanism necessary for solving the actual issue.
