Protection of citizens in matters of employment abroad

Organizations providing Pridnestrovians with work abroad are required to obtain a license for this type of activity. Deputies adopted amendments to the law "On licensing of certain types of activities" at the plenary session of the Supreme Council in the final reading.

The reliability of the information provided by numerous recruitment agencies is not guaranteed. Pridnestrovians who go abroad to earn money may be deceived. The adoption of the law, according to parliamentarians, will provide an opportunity to protect citizens. Similar legal rules apply in the laws of other states, in particular in the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation.

The adoption of the law-in-draft on licensing of recruitment agencies will create a legal basis for monitoring labor migration. In the future, this will provide an opportunity for making managerial decisions in this area.
