Sergey Gubarev, “Our first priority now is to renew the work of the “ 5 + 2 ” format

Regular meeting international meeting was held at the Parliament. Speaker Alexander Korshunov, Vice Speaker Galina Antyufeyeva, head of the parliamentary committee on education Mikhail Burla met with the Ambassador-at-large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Gubarev in the Supreme Council.

The Russian diplomat arrived at the legislature of the republic after meeting with the President Vadim Krasnoselsky and Vitaly Ignatiev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pridnestrovie.

The representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry congratulated Alexander Korshunov on his election to the post of Chairman of the Supreme Council, noting that the meetings held in parliament are legitimate.

The course of the negotiation process, prospects in connection with the elections held in neighboring states, and bilateral cooperation are two main topics discussed during the meeting. The participants summed up the conversation at the end of the meeting.

As Speaker Alexander Korshunov noted, Russia and Pridnestrovie are in the same position on the issue of the resumption and revitalization of the “5 + 2” negotiation format.
