The meeting of the advisory assembly on work with non-profit organizations was held in the Government. The chairman of the Committee of the Supreme Council on public associations, sports, information and youth policy Igor Buga, representatives of ministries, the scientific community, NGOs took part in it. The Council was created on behalf of the President of Pridnestrovie Vadim Krasnoselsky after the adoption by the Supreme Council of the law "On non-profit organizations" and the meeting of the President with the public.
At the beginning of the meeting, representatives of the non-profit sector proposed to rename this body to the advisory council for interaction with non-profit organizations. Now its full name sounds like this: an advisory assembly under the government on the development of law enforcement practice of the PMR law "On non-profit organizations". It was decided to develop a draft regulation on the activities of the council.
Members of non-profit organizations consider it is necessary to create separate thematic groups in the structure of the council, the participants of which, together with the profile agencies, will discuss problems existing in various spheres of life: assistance in economic development, social policy, education, culture, sport, health, as well as the development of NGOs.
As Deputy Prime Minister Aleksey Tsurcan said during the meeting, the government is preparing amendments to the law "On the Basics of Public Control". They presuppose the creation of public councils at each ministry, department, state administration, as well as with representative bodies of power (local Soviets of People's Deputies, the Supreme Council). The legislative initiative envisages the inclusion of representatives of the non-profit sector in these councils. The law-in-draft is planned to be prepared and submitted for consideration by the deputy corps this fall.
It was reported in the course of the meeting of the advisory council for work with non-profit organizations, that members of the NGO will contribute their proposals to the Pridnestrovian Development Strategy currently being developed for the period from 2019 to 2026 on behalf of the President.
