The village of Karagash, Slobodzeya district, is one of two villages included in the 22nd constituency of the deputy of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The population of the village is more than 5 thousand people. Since 2020, their interests in the Pridnestrovian parliament are represented by deputy Stepan Stepanov. An important area of the deputy’s work is improving the quality of life of village residents. The State Program for Executing Voter Orders helps with this. Every year, budget funds are allocated to each parliamentary district to help parliamentarians carry out the orders of the Pridnestrovians.
In 2023, in the Romanitsa child development center in the village of Karagash, according to the deputy program, a major overhaul was carried out in the music hall. The floor of the music hall sank, the covering became unusable and it was unsafe to conduct classes for children in such a hall.
The Romanitsa Child Development Center is located on the central street of the village of Karagash. An irrigation canal is laid along it, through which villagers cross by means of footbridges. The bridges built during the Soviet era collapsed the bridges built during the Soviet era collapsed. Walking along them was dangerous, and people had to go around them through the roadway, breaking traffic rules and putting their lives in danger. One of the orders to the deputy from the village residents was to solve this problem. The renovation work was funded by the Voter Mandate Fund in 2022 and 2023. The pedestrian bridges have been repaired and new fences have appeared.
There are orders in Karagash to create a sports infrastructure. The only rural stadium looks like an ordinary field. Villagers including young people go to Tiraspol or Slobodzeya to play sports or play football on a good lawn. The construction of a modern sports ground is one of the orders to the deputy from the residents of Karagash. It was decided to revive the stadium; first, a mini-football court will be built. There are already funds for it, they were allocated from the 2023 Voters Mandate Fund, the local administration and a local council deputy got involved. Preparatory work is currently underway the construction will be completed next year.
