The Accounts Chamber is 15

The history of financial control has more than one century. In order to preserve the state treasury, a countable order was created by Tsar Aleksei Mikhailovich, and the chamber-collegium of Peter the Great, and the committees of people's control of the Soviet period.

The Law on state control in our republic was adopted as one of the first, in 1991. 11 years later, by analogy with Russia, the Accounting Chamber was established in Pridnestrovie. Today the agency celebrated its 15th anniversary.

Veterans and workers of the department were congratulated by deputies of the Supreme Council, members of the Government, representatives of cities and districts. On behalf of the head of state, Mikhail Burla, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Education, Science and Culture, presented his welcome address to the staff of the control agency.

Welcoming guests of the holiday, the Chairman of the Accounting Chamber Svetlana Izmestyeva summed up the results of the activities of the control agency over the past fifteen years. 510 control and expert-analytical measures were carried out and financial violations were eliminated for a total of 291.4 million rubles.

Public finance control is provided by 120 people. Among them, those who stood at the source of the control agency, strengthened the authority of the department. Appreciate the team and young professionals. Recently, a number of new employees joined the ranks of the department.

On the day of the jubilee, the specialists of the Accounting Chamber were awarded state and departmental awards. They were thanked for their selfless work and wished success in their further work.
