In Moscow on a visit

The delegation of the legislature of the republic headed by Speaker Alexander Shcherba is on a working visit to Moscow. The deputies met in both houses of the Russian parliament - the State Duma and the Federation Council. The questions of inter-parliamentary cooperation, support of compatriots and the extension of the Russian target programs to the citizens of Pridnestrovie were were raised in its course.

The head of the international affairs Konstantin Kosachev received the Pridnestrovian delegation at the Federation Council. Colleagues parliamentarians discussed a number of issues, including the possibility of a simplified obtaining Russian citizenship to residents of Pridnestrovie. The Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Shcherba commented on the content of the dialogue.

The visit of the parliamentary delegation of Pridnestrovie was widely covered in the media space. Thus, "The Parliamentary newspaper" quoted Federation Council member Konstantin Kosachev, who confirmed the readiness of Russian parliamentarians to keep on controlling the issues of preparation of legislation relating to the inhabitants of Pridnestrovie, who want to receive Russian citizenship.

In the course of the visit to the Russian capital Pridnestrovian deputies were received in the State Duma. There they became participants in the round table meeting dedicated to the interaction with compatriots living outside Russia. Meetings in the Duma Committee on Economy and Entrepreneurship were held, where the subject of discussion was the question of budgetary planning and the return to our country of Russian investors.

General Secretary of "The United Russia" Sergei Neverov received the delegation of the Supreme Council. Cooperation of Pridnestrovian parliamentarians and the parliamentary group, which is in the State Duma, including Pridnestrovie was discussed in the course of the dialogue. They will prepare amendments to incorporate into the Russian legislation in the interests of Pridnestrovian citizens.

Meetings of deputies - Pridnestrovians with colleagues from the Moscow regional and city councils will take place today. The agenda includes the payment of allowances to all Pridnestrovian pensioners, establishing economic ties with the Moscow region, the opportunities for the implementation of targeted programs and projects funded by the leadership of the Moscow region on the territory of Pridnestrovie.
