The deputies considered the law "On public procurement in the PMR", vetoed by the President. The document was developed by Mikhail Burla, Victor Guzun, Vadim Doni, Grigory Dyachenko, Vadim Kravchuk, Sergey Cheban.Lawmakers proposed a new approach to spending budget funds in the sphere of public procurement. The authors suppose that the mechanism of spending budget money should be as transparent and understandable as possible, and promote efficient, rational spending of funds.

As Viktor Guzun, the chairman of the relevant committee, told in the course of the plenary meeting today, a conciliation commission was created to work out a common position on this issue that included deputies and government representatives.

The most controversial point was the extension of the law to state and municipal unitary enterprises. Deputies insisted: any purchases made at the expense of budget funds should be governed by basic law. Different position was expressed by government representatives. As a result, it was decided to launch a pilot project in 2019. The proposed mechanism will be tested on the example of one enterprise.

At the plenary session, the deputies agreed with the editors proposed by the conciliation commission. The law "On Procurement in Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic" was adopted and will be sent for signature to the President.
