Teachers and cultural workers will be able, if they wish, to work on two rates from the new academic year

Teachers, educators and their assistants, cultural workers will be able to work for two rates and receive a salary for their work according to the law. The corresponding law-in-draft was adopted today by the deputies of the Supreme Soviet in two readings at once. Its author is Deputy Vadim Levitsky. He explained: there were many requests especially from rural schools.

The author of the legislative initiative noted that such a norm is also valid in the Russian Federation, and the permission of the Ministry of Education is not required. The Pridnestrovian version specifies that it will be possible to work for two rates and receive wages for them only with the permission of the Ministry of Education or the public education department.

The Education Committee gave a positive opinion on this law-in-draft and recommended it for adoption in two readings at once, so that in the new academic year, teachers can already choose how to work.
