Congratulations on International Music Day

Dear musicians, performers, musical groups, teachers and mentors, 

amateurs and connoisseurs of musical art!

On behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and on my own behalf, I congratulate you on the International Day of Music!

On October 1, every year around the world, the International Day of Music is celebrated. It was established at the initiative of the International Music Council UNESCO with the aim of spreading musical art in all strata of society and realizing the ideals of peace and friendship between peoples, development of cultures, exchange of experience and mutual respect for aesthetic values. Music Day was first celebrated on October 1, 1975.

Music is an integral part of our life, and there are no boundaries for it. It accompanies us in every event, in everyday affairs and career!

Today's holiday is another opportunity to draw attention to the importance of music in our life and to realize through musical art the idea of ​​rapprochement and friendship between peoples, mutual enrichment of cultures, preservation of national musical traditions that have come to us from time immemorial.

Pridnestrovie is generously endowed with talented performers, musicians, conductors representing the republic far beyond its borders. All festive events of the state are decorated with magnificent collectives, performers, artists - creators of high art.

Our multinational republic has preserved and continued the traditions of classical Russian music education, founded by a native of our republic, the great Anton Rubinstein, after whom the Pridnestrovian State Institute of Arts is named.

You are carrying out a noble mission: you introduce people to the beautiful, spiritually educate them, help develop talents. You make our life fuller, more meaningful, more interesting and worthy.

Be happy, delight us with new pieces of music and performers! Good health to you, peace and inexhaustible energy! Let creative inspiration never leave you!
