Congratulations on International Day of Peacekeepers!

Dear servicemen of the joint peacekeeping forces!

I congratulate you on the International Day of Peacekeepers on behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic!

The peacekeeping operation and its importance for Pridnestrovie cannot be overestimated. It was after the entry of Russian peacekeepers into the zone of the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian conflict that the bloodshed on the banks of the Dniester stopped, our young republic got the opportunity to continue its path of development and deal with issues of state building.

We all understand how responsible and serious your mission is and what an important role is played in it by dedication, courage, patience, endurance, the ability to quickly and competently solve the most complex tasks.

Peacekeepers are both protectors and creators. Your tasks include maintaining peace with arms in hand especially in hot spots, and resolving crisis situations, and rebuilding cities after devastating conflicts.

I wish you good health, happiness and new achievements. Serving the world and the Motherland is a high calling.
