With pride in their ancestors

Millions of people around the world consider May 9 the main day. The holiday can no longer be imagined without the popular, many-people "Immortal Regiment". With photos of veterans, their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, take pride in their ancestors. In Tiraspol, the many thousands column began its march from the square named after the commander Alexander Suvorov.

Deputy of the Supreme Council Vadim Levitsky was in the column of the Immortal regiment. Both of his grandfathers fought in the Great Patriotic War.

Vladlena and Semyon Roshka are still schoolchildren, but they are well aware of the events of the Great Patriotic War. For the holiday, the children took a portrait of their great-grandfather Pedan Semyon Arhipovich.

The descendants of the heroes-liberators marched with gratitude for the peaceful sky overhead. Each of the participants of the action has its own story.

There is not a single family that the Great Patriotic War not affected. Everyone remembers this, so every year more and more people are walking in the column of the Immortal Regiment. Processions take place in more than a hundred countries, in millions of cities and small villages. The event leaves no one indifferent.

Children and adults, having raised the portraits of their heroes high above their heads, passed by a single formation. The final point of the procession is the military camp of the Operative Group of Russian Forces.
